Getting Started
The workflow visualizer provides a visual representation of your document processing pipeline. Here's how to get started:
- Upload files using the drop zone or click to select files
- Monitor the workflow status in real-time
- View and manage files in each queue
- Process files using various tools and features
File Upload
You can upload files in two ways:
- Drag and drop files onto the drop zone
- Click the drop zone to open the file selection dialog
Supported File Types:
- Images (JPG, PNG, SVG)
- PDF Documents
- Text Files
Queue Management
Each queue in the workflow represents a stage in the processing pipeline:
- Click on a queue to view its contents
- Download files from any queue
- Monitor queue size and status
File Processing Tools
The system provides several tools for processing files:
PDF Text Extraction
- Available for PDF files
- Extracts text content from PDFs
- Downloads extracted text as a file
Symbol Extraction
- Available for JPG, PNG, and SVG images
- Processes images to extract symbols
- Shows preview of processed image
- Downloads processed image
SVG Preview
- Direct preview of SVG files in the viewer
- Interactive SVG elements are preserved
- Zoom and pan support for detailed viewing
- Download original SVG files
Regex Pattern Matching
- Available for text files
- Search for patterns in text content
- View matching results
Workflow Status
The workflow status is displayed at the top of the visualizer:
- Engine Name: Shows the current workflow engine
- State: Indicates if the workflow is running or stopped
- Task Status: Shows the state of each processing task
Tips and Best Practices
- Keep file sizes reasonable for optimal processing
- Monitor queue sizes to prevent bottlenecks
- Use appropriate file types for each processing tool
- Regularly check the workflow status
Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions:
- If file upload fails, check file size and type
